Our Second Hockey Fights Cancer Fundraiser @ MSG

November is Hockey Fights Cancer (HFC) month in the National Hockey League. Teams participate during the month by hosting events and creating memorabilia worn by the players which is later raffled off for this cause. Hockey fights cancer at MSG was held November 27, 2023. The event was attended by the whole family and dear friends Rob, Rachel, Andrew and Julia. In honor of Amy and Lee’s 60th birthday, donations of close to $4,000 were received and a $5,000 donation was made to the “V Foundation for Cancer Research” (Jimmy Valvano) which is NHL’s teamed partnership for HFC night. Following this donation, S4S was contacted by the V Foundation major gifts group. We met in March and we agreed to speak about future opportunities for assisting one another with Cancer fundraising.
