Our First Half-Marathon Fundraiser

On March 20, 2022, Strides4Steven ran the NYC Half-Marathon as part of Fred’s Team with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Our initial field of runners included Steven’s mom, sisters, girlfriend and many good friends and cousins. The Team runners were; Amy Roth, Danielle Roth, Stephanie Roth, Dana Levine, Josh Shikoff, Spencer Pilivan, Rikki Pilivan, Madison Pilivan, Sheryl Pilivan, Alec Krueger, Adam Searles, Brent Weinstein and Sam Epstein.

It was a beautiful Spring day with sunshine and temperature in the mid-50’s. The Team raised $62,181 for Fred’s Team. Following the race, we all kicked back for some food and drinks at the Gin Mill on Amsterdam Avenue and 81st Street. A fitting name for Gin was Steven’s favorite spirit.
